S.K.K.I.F. Chief Instructor Sensei Carpenter 7th Dan
 
Chief Instructor and Chairman of SKKIF, Roger Carpenter (7th Dan) Began Wado Ryu Karate in North London (under Sensei Bob Wignall) in 1964. Started training in Shotokan Karate in 1968 and attained Shodan from Hirokazu Kanazawa Shihan in 1973. Sensei Carpenter currently holds the grade of 7th dan which Kancho Kanazawa awarded to him in April 2007.

Sensei Carpenter spends a lot of the year travelling around the UK assuring that the high standards or SKKIF are maintained and holds together the Association with a dedication and professionalism which is admired wherever he goes. Kancho Kanazawa has entrusted Sensei Carpenter for many years to maintain the high standard of SKIF and to date has always delivered.
